GiftsVouchers.co.uk Blogger Challenge: Fantastic Gifts from £35 or less

I was invited to this fun blogger challenge by GiftsVouchers.co.uk, in which I need to choose 5 gift ideas from around the web. I love 'window' shopping on the web and because it is coming up to Christmas, it is the perfect time for this challenge to be about.

The rules

  • Write a blog post with at least 5 different gift ideas from around the internet. Each gift must cost no more than £35.
  • Include a link to our website which points to http://www.giftsvouchers.co.uk
  • Let other bloggers know they can enter by pointing them to this page.
  • Send your entry to comp@giftsvouchers.co.uk
if you would like to enter or find out more about the challenge, head over to their competition page here.

So here is my entry, I put a LOT of thought into this and because I love quirky/geeky items, I wanted to kind of stick with that theme for my entry. So where else should I start but Think Geek.

Please click source under any photo to be taken to the item sale page.

Portal Bookends $29.99 (approx £18.53)

(source)

How cute are these? I would love to have these on my bookshelf at home and these were definitely number one on my gift list as I'm sure a lot of people I know would love these too. Although, with the amount of books me and hubs have, I'm not so sure just one set would be enough for us.

Superhero Caped Socks $9.99 each (approx £6.17)

(source)

Sticking with Think Geek for the moment, we have these amazeballs superhero caped socks. Now, what Christmas or Birthday is complete without the gift of socks and with these, we can turn the faked thank-you's and disappointment into pure, unadulterated awesomeness.

Not only that, I could even buy all 3 and still be within my gift price range of £35 and they also do superhero boy shorts here, if you're interested.

Star Wars: The Jedi Path Manual £7.92

(source)

The Star Wars Jedi Path manual is the perfect gift for the Padawan in your life.

'This ancient training manual, crafted by early Jedi Masters, has educated and enlightened generations of Jedi.

It explains the history and hierarchy of the Jedi Order, and what Jedi must know to take their place as defenders of the peace in the galaxy from mastery of the Force to the nuances of lightsaber combat. A single copy of this manual has survived. It is now passed on to you...'

(in childish whiney voice) I want this. (followed by foot stomp and pouty face)

POW comic book headband $25 (approx £15.86)

(source)

This gorgeous creation is from seller TheDollCityRocker on Etsy. This would go perfect with the caped Superhero socks, obviously with some clothing of any description in between, would look a bit weird with just a headband and socks on, but what you do in your own time is none of my business =D.

I would buy this for, well, myself, and any other quirky/ geek girls I know. It would look adorable on pretty much anyone.

Models Own Mirroball Collection Box Set £20

(source)

As a full blown addict to nail polish and a lover of glitter polishes, I had to get this in there. I know these are currently sold out but this would be the perfect gift for most people I know. This box set includes 5 nails polishes with hand cut glitter (oooh) and a top coat. Pretty much everything you need for a week of nails, who needs a base colour with such gorgeous glitters?

Well, that is what my entry consists of. One thing I have learned from this challenge is that, when it comes to non clothing items, I don't really have as expensive taste as I thought. Not one of my gifts were at the £35 mark, in fact, none of my gift choices were over £20. Makes it cheaper for me to get all these gorgeous items for myself, mwahahaha (evil laugh too much? yeah I thought so)

Don't forget to head on over to GiftsVouchers.co.uk to check out there website and maybe do an entry of your own.

Also, I would love to know/see if you have any of the items above, did you buy them for yourself? Were they a gift from someone? Or did you buy them as a gift and keep them for yourself? Let me know in the comments.

TGIF.

:)x
