Barry M Passion Fruit, Blood Orange, Matcha and Black Cherry Swatches

So something awesome happened recently, Barry M sent an email asking if I would like to collaborate with them on some Halloween nail art, which will be up on here at various times this week, but Senpai noticed me!!! Obviously I said yes! Then I completely lost it and maybe even cried!

Anyway, that leads me on to these polishes. They sent me some polishes to do the nail art with and when I first glanced at these 4 Gellys I thought they were the new A/W 18 Gelly releases *face palm* they are actually from 4 different releases from years past. But, that doesn’t change how grateful I am to be sent these polishes, they are all beautiful and they are new to my collection, and they are definitely worthy of a swatch.

So lets move on from this and pretend it never happened! Photos show 2 coats with no topcoat.

Passion Fruit

Passion Fruit is from the 2013 Summer release. It is a coral leaning, pinky red, that is not quite as bright as my camera makes out.

Blood Orange

Blood Orange is from the very first Gelly release back in 2012 and is a juicy, slightly orange leaning red.

Matcha

Matcha is from the 2017 A/W release and is a gorgeous khaki green.

Black Cherry

Black Cherry is part of the Midnight Gelly range released back in A/W 2015 and is a lush, blackened crimson and could probably have done with another coat for my swatch but still looks like a pretty wine red.

All 4 of these polishes are glossy and have a fantastic formula. They dry fast and to a super high shine like the rest of the Gelly range. My favourite out of the 4 is Blood Orange, although I definitely do have a soft spot for Matcha. And they are all still available on the Barry M website for £3.99 each.
